LiquaPar MEP is a liquid preservative system which is effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, yeast, and mold. It does not contain halo-organic components, formaldehyde, or formaldehyde releasers and is Butylparaben free.

LiquaPar MEP is approved worldwide.
Applications
Can be easily incorporated into a wide variety of rinse-off and leave-on personal care products.
Compatible with most cosmetic raw materials and can be used at pH levels of 3.0-7.5.
Recommended use levels of 0.5-1.0%.
Note: the paraben components of LiquaPar MEP may become partially deactivated by non-ionic surfactants and emulsifiers; as a result, these materials should be minimized or avoided.
Although Phenoxyethanol is slightly volatile, LiquaPar MEP is stable at temperatures up to 85°C, but it is always best to add preservatives at the coolest temperature possible.
For cold mixed systems, add LiquaPar MEP early in the process to allow for adequate mixing.
Every cosmetic formulation requires a specific preservative system to meet its individual needs. Therefore, every newly developed or modified product should be challenge tested to assure preservative efficacy.
